Peruvian Hemingway Some Facts... · Bred by the Rural Allianza co-op and originates from their plantel herd located in Macusani. This herd is known all over Peru for its fine fleece. · Imported to the USA in the first Peruvian import and was selected for import by Australian Roger Haldane. · Hemingway's overall coverage is considered stellar. He has been confirmed to be the number one award winning fleece/male in history. · Micron tested at age 3 with his front, rear and mid-side samples at 18.8, 18.3, and 17.8 microns respectively. The side sample full numbers were: 17.8/3.9/21.9. At age 8, his fleece still retains an incredible softness, brightness, and fine crimp. · Proven to be highly prepotent in his ability to pass his fleece qualities on to his offspring. As reported in a study by Mike Safley, Hemingway has proven to reduce micron and to improve uniformity in fleece by approximately 25%. |

Some Hemingway Offspring... During a short browse of the internet (Google search criteria: "Hemingway" & "micron") the following Hemingway crias were found in the first five pages returned. The consistency of the fleece qualities from one cria to another are remarkable.
